DELIVERY UPDATE FOR UNIVERSAL, SONY, PIAS AND DISTRIBUTED LABELS

We have received confirmation that the main music disributor is down.

Additionally we have received further information that Music on Vinyl have also experienced an IT problem.

This will result in a delay in processing some orders.

Currently, Warners are unaffected and we were able to ship almost all the new releases for tomorrow (David Bowie, Paul Weller, etc) yesterday.  A few orders containing multple purchases will be shipped today using DPD next day delivery.

I would like to make you aware that Utopia have experienced a full internet outage in Bicester, since 6am this morning.  This means that any orders placed today will not have been processed as the whole ordering system is down.

Utopia have been working closely with all their IT support contacts and will work through the night and tomorrow morning to fix the problem.

As soon as I have an update on progress, I will be in touch.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused everyone today.

Unfortunately, UDS have been experiencing an internet outage at the Bicester site today due to a fault at the providers end.

This is still unresolved and they do not currently know when this fault will be fixed, only that they are working to resolve urgently.

This will result in delays with processing and shipping of orders, they will try to keep this to a minimum.

Apologies for the inconvenience and I will update you as I hear more.

WHAT RECORDS UPDATE.

Despite the problems with distribution, thanks to our large stock holding we still managed to ship 98% of orders received yesterday.  Deep catalogue orders will be a problem area should the outage continue at Utopia and MOV for an extended period.  Hopefully the problem will be resolved shortly but I know there is already a large backlog of orders on the Utopia system already.

We are closed on bank holidays
