Bibio The Green EP Limited Vinyl LP
Overview:
· “‘Dye The Water Green’ tumbles down from a long lost folk-rock tradition, its ghostlike qualities gradually unfolding the mix. That effect is enhanced on ‘Wulf’ which feels like a third generation cassette recording of an acoustic motif recorded in a cave.” - Resident Advisor
· ‘The Green EP’ is a follow up to Bibio’s kaleidoscopic,
summery, hazey album, ‘Silver Wilkinson’, which was released mid-2013.
· Focusing on his favourite track from the album, ‘Dye The Water Green’ (“a track which demonstrates an impeccable creative beauty that his juniors will struggle to match” - Clash) is also the lead track on the EP, which will be accompanied by a breathtakingly beautiful video.
· Accompanying ‘Dye The Water Green’ are five tracks that the extremely gifted Stephen Wilkinson aka Bibio has had in his archives for some time. Each track has been revamped and re-recorded to creatively complement each other on this release. Expect atmospheric mood music.
· ‘The Green EP’ is limited to 200 copies in the UK and
Eire.
· For fans of Toro y Moi, Flying Lotus, The Avalanches,
Gold Panda, Caribou, Boards Of Canada, Four Tet, Washed Out, Neon Indian.
