The incredible ‘Muse’ release their eagerly anticipated album ‘The 2nd Law’ on 1st October.

The campaign began with the release of the official Olympics song ‘Survival’, which the band played at the Closing Ceremony on the 12th August in front of 22 million people in the UK alone, a song NME described as “amongst the most ear-scorchingly … brilliant songs in Muse’s canon.”
The band then debuted the first proper single ‘Madness’ on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show on 20th August. To coincide with the radio date a lyric video for the track was released which has already racked up an incredible 3,850,000 views on YouTube in just 10 days, making it one of the biggest viral videos of the year.
The album release will be followed by a huge tour of Europe starting in France on October 16 and including five UK shows. The UK dates start in Glasgow on October 24 and include two nights at London’s O2 Arena, one night in Birmingham and one in Manchester.
The group’s last album ‘The Resistance’ has sold over ¾ of a million copies in the UK and was No.1 in 19 countries. The band has now sold over 15 million records worldwide.
Box Set Details
The Deluxe Box Set features a thermal reactive, colour changing lid which uses printed liquid crystal ink, plus box set only artwork. The box set contains a CD/DVD format of The 2nd Law housed in a special 7" sized 24 page bookpack featuring artwork exclusive to the box set. The box set also contains 2 heavyweight vinyl records housed in individual sleeves with bespoke artwork and 3 box set only 12” prints featuring art only available in this package.
