This has all the hallmarks of a dance classic and one we should be really excited about. The vocal used on the track is indeed that of music legend Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. Mitchel ‘Paris Green’ Kelly was discovered by Kölsch on his BBC Radio 1 Residency show through his track “You Got To Try”, which became demo of the month and shortly got signed by Damian Lazarus for his Rebellion/Crosstown Rebels imprint. The E.P. release received support from Pete Tong, Kölsch, Steve Bug, Damian Lazarus. The seed was planted and Mitchel began branching out, going off the beaten path, to create his personal style. With a natural interest in art, design and fashion, Mitchel started Paris Green in 2017. Creating hypnotic dancefloor grooves with soul and jazz aesthetics. He decided he needed to know the classics, because you can't know where you’re going until you know where you’ve been and that’s where he found Marvin Gaye’s 1967 ‘If I Could Build My Whole World Around You’ The track features Marvin Gaye and Tammi’s original vocals. Support is coming already from Damian Lazarus and many others at club.
