David Gilmour is releasing his recent recordings of two Syd Barrett songs on 26th December on 7 inch and 3 Track Maxi CD. This is the Maxi CD which will be deleted on the week of release. The Arnold Layne EP is a rare gem as it features two unique versions of the Syd Barrett classic as well as David Gilmour’s first ever public performance of Dark Globe. The vocals on the single version are performed by David Bowie making this a highly collectable item appealing to both Floyd and Bowie fans alike.
